Newbold Comyn, a 300 acre country park in Leamington Spa, has long been a valuable outdoor space for the community, as well as a haven for nature and wildlife. The golf course on the Comyn closed in 2018 and will not re-open. Warwick District Council, which owns the site, has run a public consultation to draw up recommendations for its future use.
We volunteered our time and skills to design this presentation, bringing the ideas within it to life, through considered use of photography, iconography, typography and a fresh, natural colour palette. The proposal was written by a collective of key Warwickshire community stake holders, who are passionate about protecting and transforming Newbold Comyn into an inspirational leisure and learning environment. It sets out a concept for using the site as a focal point for a wider vision of establishing a regional centre for health and wellbeing.
We are passionate about our local community and protecting the natural environment, so we were more than happy to contribute our time and energy to this worthwhile project, as part of our annual pro-bono contribution.
