Art in the Park is a weekend arts festival celebrating and showcasing hundreds of regional artists, craftspeople and performers. The festival is hosted in Leamington Spa’s Jephson Gardens and is visited by thousands each year.
Joyous Creative were commissioned to refresh Art in the Park’s existing branding to reflect the 2019 festival theme of ‘water’, whilst incorporating long-standing elements such as the tree and chrome yellow into their new logo and overall look. This 2019 festival identity captures the playful, bright, artistic and accessible personality Art in the Park prides itself on. A cool watery colour palette of turquoise and teal is complimented with warm energetic colours, inspired by the park’s natural hues. ‘Cocogoose Letterpress’ font was used to evoke the festival’s renowned playful, handmade and relaxed feel.
We worked across both print and digital platforms, re-designing and re-building their website with an emphasis on clean and bold design, image lead communication and clearer messaging. We also filmed and produced a promotional video for the festival, capturing the essence of the relaxed, creative summer festival vibe.
The brand will continue to grow across various pieces of collateral, building up towards the event this August 3rd & 4th.
